AFC Championship

Funny story - last year around this time both Mommy and Daddy were excited about the NFL Playoffs. See, both the Ravens and Chargers were favored to reach the Superbowl, and Dad promised Mom that if either team made it to the big game, a Superbowl trip to Miami was in the cards.

Instead, both teams were losers in the AFC Divisional Round, and a last minute trip to Costa Rica was planned... to honor this star-crossed event, we of course had to root on the Chargers last weekend in the AFC Championship. What better way to do it, than to drop me right in to my very first sportsbar experience. The venue? Blondies on 79th in the UWS, a Patriots bar, of course.
